Do you travel outside of the Blue Mountains?

Yes, we can travel anywhere for your photos!

There is no travel fee within one hour drive of Hazelbrook for engagements and proposals. Beyond that, a travel allowance is worked into the single package price before you book (never added afterwards).

Do you offer discount bundles?

Absolutely! If you book in a Proposal or Engagement photoshoot with us, you'll be eligible for $200 off the cost of your choice of any Wedding package.

What's the Lifetime Storage Back-Up?

We'll save back-ups of all of your edited photos for the lifetime of our business. If your laptop dies, your phone goes in a lake, or you simply lose the download link in a few years, email us and we will happily send it again.

Does the photographer hide for proposal photos?

Yes, absolutely! Keeping the moment a complete surprise is the top priority. Depending on your chosen location, we generally use one of two methods:

  1. The Hidden Photographer: The classic covert approach. We stay completely out of sight behind trees, foliage, or architectural features before you arrive, capturing the moment from a distance.
  2. The Secret Stranger: Best for open or busy public spots. We blend right into the environment looking just like a casual tourist, local, or passerby with a camera so your partner won't suspect a thing.

During our planning consultation, we’ll look at your location together to decide which strategy provides the best coverage while keeping the surprise 100% intact.

How do we secure our preferred photography date?

A signed agreement and a 20% retainer locks the date in. Until both are in place, the date stays available to other couples.

How much does engagement photography cost in the Blue Mountains?

At Jacob & Mim Photography, our standalone engagement sessions are $500 with no hidden fees or upgrades pushed onto you. Plus, every session includes a $200 credit toward any of our wedding photography packages when you're ready to book your big day!

How much does proposal photography cost in the Blue Mountains?

Our proposal photography sessions are $450 with simple, upfront pricing and no surprise add-ons. Plus, every session includes a $200 credit toward your choice of wedding package if you decide to book with us for your wedding!
